The Beautiful Quantock Hills. The Quantock Hills, or just Quantocks, were England’s first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) some 50 years ago. Covering 99 sq kms (40 sq miles) and situated in north west Somerset between Taunton and the Bristol Channel, the Quantocks are a hidden gem.
