Roncesvalles Victorian Reno Diary: August 2009
http://roncesrenodiary.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 7, 2009. Where has the time gone? I wish i had a really good excuse for not posting in the last year and 4 months, but the truth is i've just been carried away enjoying my life here in Roncesvalles Village, and busy with work, renovating and life. So where did i leave off, oh yes that's right i had set out the grand master list of renovation projects. So have we managed to get through our list? Will we ever re-coup the costs we've spent on renovating? Stay married through out the process?

a Girl Called Kim: September 2011
http://agirlcalledkim.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Last week, two of my coworkers and I headed to Sushi Kaji. For what may be the most expensive meal I've ever paid for (so far), but the whole experience was worth it! We had reservations to sit at the bar, although we couldn't see most of the dishes being made since they were done at the back counter or behind the ice tray containing the fish. Nevertheless, the dishes were beautifully prepared and just kept on coming! The fish that is served is flown in fresh from Tokyo bay within 24 hours of being out o...

The Condo} "Construction" So Far. This is going to be a long two years. Construction on the condo was originally slated to begin in March but then was later delayed to May. Fences and hoarding went up and they only closed off the parking lot it's being built over in July. Finally in August they brought in drilling and earth moving machines and this is where they were at a few weeks ago:. Photo by The Toronto Blog. I passed by during Labour Day weekend and it was just earth/pavement and trucks everywhere.

http://www.aandbstories.com/2015/02/one.html
The A and B Stories. Saturday, 14 February 2015. To say that Ben adores his little brother is the understatement of the century. I can't convey in pictures or words what these two have going on. It's the best thing ever. I am so proud of Ben for being so sweet and loving towards Sawyer. My sweet boys. The best little people ever. Tomorrow we will have a small get together to celebrate this guy. We are so happy he's one of us :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Oh, and we have a shop! A CUP OF JO.

http://www.aandbstories.com/2014/09/ancaster-fair.html
The A and B Stories. Sunday, 21 September 2014. We spent our Sunday out at the Ancaster Fairgrounds. This time of year is just the best, right? All fairs are pretty much the same so I'll spare you the details but, we hit a major milestone today. Ben went on rides all by himself! He actually wanted to do it, and he was so brave! I might have cried a bit. Ya, I'm that mom. And one with Daddy, so excited about that one! Uncle Mike and Auntie Emma came out to meet us, the boys were pretty excited to see them!

Roncesvalles Victorian Reno Diary: March 2008
http://roncesrenodiary.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 22, 2008. First came Angelo, from Visic Brothers Heating and Air Conditioning. Dealing with him was about as much fun as rolling around in a patch of poison ivy. The minute he walked in the door, he declared with all the certainty one could muster, "I know why this house was on the market for so long! Actually Angelo, it was on the market for only four days", my wife corrected. Before even seeing the whole house he was declaring the job "Impossible! We were very glad when Angelo left.

Tuesday, November 17, 2009. WHY THE #%$ WONT YOU STOP LEAKING, DAMMIT? Aka Installing a Shower Valve). Have you ever walked down the plumbing aisle at your local building store and wondered why they have so many different types of teflon tape and pipe joint compounds? Here's what i learned:. 1 No matter how much you think you might be saving, don't ever buy the cheap teflon tape. There's a very good reason why some rolls cost 4 bucks and others cost 39 cents. 3 Shut off valves are your friend. Overall we...

Roncesvalles Victorian Reno Diary: Back With Another IKEA Hack
http://roncesrenodiary.blogspot.com/2012/02/back-with-another-ikea-hack.html
Saturday, February 11, 2012. Back With Another IKEA Hack. Worked out in Sidney's room, we thought we'd do it again, but with a few added features. You can click here to see my feature on IKEA Hackers. We started with two IKEA PAX units, which standing on their own aren't very attractive. So i decided i'd fill in the rest of the wall with. I started by building a nice level platform upon which the PAX and side cabinets would stand upon:. Then i cut and painted all the pieces for the 2 side cabinets:.
