Eric and I both love hiking and we are really hoping that the boys develop the same love for hiking. We started hiking with Emerson when he was a year old. Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Our Memorial Day weekend was spent camping in Lincoln State Park in southern Indiana. We enjoyed a great few days of hiking, swimming and playing. On one side, the highway wound around small mountains and rolling hills, the other side the rushing water of the picturesque Columbia River and then the railroad filled the spaces in between. Monday, August 3, 2015. Somewhere in the middle of Montana. This is what my mind pictures the west to look like. This is a big week for us. We are preparing for a big adventure and the beginning of the school year. Can come to fruition. What a way to finish out our summer vacation with a road trip! The best part, even though our summer vacation is down to just a few more days we get an extension and we still have the rest of the summer season and fall to camp through the rest of the state parks.
