The Sanguine Stitcher: September 2013
http://sanguinestitchertwo.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, 28 September 2013. I have been enjoying a big chunk of crochet heaven lately. I went to Chinatown last couple of weeks, thinking I could get some worsted-weight cotton yarn. No luck. So I figured I'd get some worsted-weight arcylic yarn instead. And since their for amigurumis Ifigured, I'd go for acrylic for now. After all I'm still a newbie at crochet. So I set about crocheting Stacey Trock's. I need to go downtown again. But not till they stock up on black. Then I discovered Deramores UK.

The Sanguine Stitcher: January 2013

Tuesday, 15 January 2013. Happy New Year everyone! 2013 is well on it's way . I think I may have found some new wind to do some relaxing hand quilting this New Year. When I hand quilted previously (the little that I did) it was quite dreadful and painful. Mind you we're talking about big stitch or utility quilting, not those fine Amish quilting. I somehow did not get it . the rocking motion . until I saw this video. Actually I've seen how Sarah Fielke. Here's the proof. I had to quickly look for a qu...

The Sanguine Stitcher: I'm hooked
http://sanguinestitchertwo.blogspot.com/2013/07/im-hooked.html
Tuesday, 30 July 2013. Literally. My days have been filled with everything crochet. Even while waiting at the doctor's office I was reading crochet patterns and trying very hard to learn and understand them. I think I'm drowning in crochet but please don't save me! I've since added colours to my cotton yarn stash. Variety is always good IMHO :) So I've been following along Lucy's. Blog with some of her generous tutorials. I came up with hexie. Then I discovered Heidi's. My little gifts for my pals Merilyn.

The Sanguine Stitcher: Happenings ...
http://sanguinestitchertwo.blogspot.com/2013/09/happenings.html
Friday, 6 September 2013. It was Margaret W's birthday end of last month and this is what I came up with. Cross stitch design by The Sampler Gir. L and made it into a zipper pouch. I really like the zipper pouch finish as it's such a useful item and I can incorporate a lovely XS pattern and use a coordinating fabric. In this zipper pouch the fabric is by French General (a gift from Merilyn. With a piece of French Linen tape attached to it. Another tote bag but this time wider using the tutorial by MSQC.

The Sanguine Stitcher: August 2012
http://sanguinestitcher.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 30, 2012. Christmas in July Swap and Etsy Adventure. And I have an agreement for a swap or two every year. As you can see from the title, the swap was late and should have been christened Christmas in August! It's always a delight conjuring things I want to make for these two very talented people. This time around the theme was zakka. So I got my grey cells cracking. This is what I made for Elyte. Now for my new Etsy adventure, I have opened up a shop to offer my Made to Order blouses...

Wednesday, May 16, 2012. I had my birthday earlier this month and the gifts I've received are absolutely precious! My dear friends know me too well. A lovely prim pin cushion from Jess. It's a freebie design by Lori Brechlin of Notforgotten Farm. The pattern is available here. Very nice sentiment indeed. And here's the the whole shebang! Next up is a heart pin cushion by Ewe and Eye and Friends. Gorgeously stitched and finished by Lillie. Love all those buttons! Something old and something new Merilyn.
