We do know that she had at least one elder brother, Claude Rollet (1578-1643) who would accompany her to the New World. A History in Families. Saturday, May 15 2010. Charles-Simon was born in 1679 in Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pérade to Jean Ricard. And Madeleine Pineau. He was their second son. He and his elder brother Jean (1676-? Both brother eventually returned to Sainte-Anne to work the land as their father had before them.
