Professional photographers host neighborhood playdate in honor of SARAH E.M. BECKING and YOU are invited! Tuesday, October 14, 2008. 504 (human) participants. 147 families. what a day! Friends family who came to the park sunday signed in under the tents before heading off to the kids' activity area or a photographer's "corner.". The park was the perfect setting. music was in the air (literally! Kids were skipping, dancing, gluing, finding sticks. climbing trees. It felt like a giant playdate at the park.

Saturday, October 11, 2008. My in-law's had the wonderful idea of renting a houseboat for a long weekend on Table Rock lake. My husband has a large blended family - 7 kids (only one girl in that mix! 3 of the 7 have spouses - and so far there are 3 grand kids. A huge thank you to all of Madison's Uncles for their amazing patience and diligence. She looks up to all of her uncles and of course drives them crazy sometimes, but they never let it show. I'm already looking forward to our next trip together!

I must say that the very stylish Mizzou ponchos that I purchased on Friday for $5 were an awesome investment. They really did keep us pretty dry.
